This “lite version” is perfect if you wish to see Prague downtown in one tour, prefer privacy and don´t want to spend half of the day sightseeing among crowds. This is off the beaten track tour; perfect mix of landmarks and many local hidden gems. And a tram ride!”

3-hour friendly introduction tour

Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, Powder Tower and much more! This 3-hour private introduction tour is a perfect combination of the most important Prague sights and many local hidden gems. Together we will see 8 major Prague sights while walking through picturesque backalleyes and less crowded routes. This off-the-beaten-track tour is 3 hours long, hence a great option for all travelers with limited time in Prague. During this tour we will also use public transport. Like locals do! The ticket is included in the final price.

The “lite tour” is designed as a private experience only for you and your group. It comes with flexible starting times and can be eventually customized according to your needs and wishes. Tour itinerary

  • Starting time of the tour is entirely up to you and your travel plans. We will meet at NámÄ›stĂ­ Republiky – easy to find public meeting point. Or if you wish, I can meet you in your downtown located hotel (extra charge 10 euro). Then we will walk together to the starting point.
  • The first part of the tour we will spend in Old Town. This is the area where you will see Municipal House, Powder Tower, Rudolfinum, many tranquil back alleys and riverside with fantastic views over Prague Castle.
  • After 1 hour in the Old Town we will cross the Vltava river and start exploring the Lesser Town area. We will bypass the crowds and still see all the “hotspots” like Charles bridge or Kampa island.
  • By this moment, after approx. 2 hours walking, we will hop on a tram like locals do and take a short ride up to the Castle district. The tram ticket is included in the price so just sit back and relax.  
  • After 10-minutes ride we will reach the Castle district because our last stop will be Prague Castle. Here you will see the 1st, 2nd and 3rd courtyard and St. Vitus Cathedral (from outside).
  • Our little Prague adventure ends on the 3rd courtyard of Prague Castle (in winter) or in Prague Castle gardens (during the high season).  
  • After we finish you can either stay longer at Prague Castle or I can take you back to your hotel, call you Uber or take you to the nearest public transportation stop.

This tour covers 9 major Prague sights – such as Charles Bridge, Kampa Island, Powder Tower, Municipal House, Metronome, Rudolfinum, Loreta, Prague Castle (1st, 2nd, 3rd courtyard) and St. Vitus Cathedral. The must-sees in Prague but we will not be walking through the busy streets and stereotypical routes! I will take you off the beaten path!

I will also show you many of the local hidden gems and quirky places that most travelers miss or can´t easily find on their own. This is my speciality!

You will have free access to my WiFi network throughout the whole tour. You can stay connected all the time and share your pictures online right away or track the route in the map.

This off the beaten track tour is designed as private experience with flexible starting times. Your tour will not be shared with any other people.

Start & end

This tour starts at Náměstí Republiky where we will meet. The end of the tour is at Prague Castle. The tour is ca 6 km long (4 miles). After we finish, I will help you with directions, or take you to the nearest tram stop, or call you a taxi. Pick-up and drop-off at your downtown hotel is possible, too.

Tram ride

During this private tour we will use Prague public transport and enjoy 10-minutes ride like locals. This will save us lot of energy and time. No walk uphill! Tram ticket is included in the price.
