Customized private tours

Customized private tours can start from your hotel or from a public meeting point. You can decide.

If the weather is bad, is the tour canceled or...?

As Scandinavians like to say: “There is no bad weather, just bad clothing.“ The tour is given rain or shine. Please, dress for the elements, ensure you have good walking shoes, and have FUN!!!

What should I bring with me on the tour?

For your comfortable walk it is very, very, very much recommended to have a good pair of shoes (not flip flops). Proper shoes are absolutely essential. It is also good to have some cash/change with you for using a toilet 🙂

I also recommend taking a little snack and bottled water with you.

Is it difficult to complete the tour? Do I need to be really fit?

Prague Behind The Scenes (4,5 hours walk) SMALL GROUP TOUR

No worries, difficulty is medium. We will have a light, relaxed tempo with enough time for taking pictures. Part of the tour has some hills but you will be profoundly rewarded for your efforts. The view from the top is absolutely priceless. Just count on a little bit of exercise, which doesn´t mean we are going to be walking the whole duration of the tour, we will stop often and there will be one extended coffee/snack break. IN GENERAL you will be walking for just 2,5h hours, the rest is for stops, talks, restroom breaks, coffee break and taking pictures.

Prague Behind The Scenes “light version” (3 hours walk) PRIVATE TOUR

This tour is much easier – difficulity is light/medium. Of course, this “light tour” is still a bit of excercise (almost 4 miles walking), however no uphill parts, no walking up the stairs. Just flat or downthill. The terrain is mostly on cobble stones. And we will also use public transport during this tour.

This “light tour” is perfect option for hot summers and winters when you don´t want to spend too much time outside but still want to learn a lot about Prague.

Private tour

Private tours can be perfectly customized to your needs.

Can children join the tour?

Prague Behind The Scenes (4,5 h walk) and Prague Behind the Scenes “light version” (3 h walk) involve a bit of exercise and are more suitable for fir adults but if you think your child will complete the tour and enjoy/understand the volume of information, young visitors are more than welcome!

Just keep in mind that we also need to be considerate to the rest of the group (if you choose small group tour) and follow a certain time frame.

I don´t recommend taking baby carriages as the terrain is not very suitable for them – cobble stones, uphill parts, stairs.

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?

I am very sorry, but due to the terrain I can´t recommend this tour to people in wheelchairs.

What about some breaks during the tour?

Yes, on my long Prague Behind The Scenes (4,5 h walk) we will stop in a non-touristy coffee place for a light lunch and coffee. Very nice and cozy place with reasonable prices!

How does the WiFi works?

There will be a portable WiFi hotspot available along the whole tour. In the beginning you will be provided with a password, so you can start using it right away. Please note, this is not a regular high speed internet for downloading movies, but it is absolutely great for posting photos on social media and other online fun along the way 🙂
